2025: A Year Worth Celebrating
This past year was a big one for Kibu. We grew. We launched new features. We listened and built for what really matters. None of that happens without the providers who show up every day to do this work the right way. You trusted us, you challenged us, and you helped shape what Kibu is becoming.
We’re grateful for you, and we’re excited to look back at 2025 with you.
Now, let’s dive into what Kibu has been up to over the last 12 months…
Documentation: Keeping Compliance Easy
This year, we channeled our energy into Documentation like never before. The goal was simple: make compliance faster, clearer, and easier for staff to do the right thing without fighting the system. We focused on creating the best EHR for disability providers, ever.
Here’s what changed:

We introduced Clara, our AI-powered report generator. Clara turns notes and service records into comprehensive, ready-to-share reports in a fraction of the time. Less rewriting. Less backtracking. More confidence in what’s being submitted.

We launched Kibu's eMAR, built from the ground up to be simple. Full medication administration capabilities, without the clutter or complexity that slows teams down. It’s straightforward, intuitive, and designed for real-world use.

The Kibu Mobile App was launched! eMAR, Magic Pen, attendance, and client profiles are all easier to access and faster to use, wherever the day happens to take you.

We added Speech-to-Text Note Taking, with translation from any language and the ability to attach photos directly to notes. Staff can document anywhere, anytime - without forcing their work into a rigid process.
We rolled out Unlimited File Storage, giving organizations a safe, secure place to keep important files and information without worrying about limits.

We rebuilt Life Plan Goals, adding more detail while making the experience easier for DSPs to navigate and update.
And we expanded Forms, including incident reports, medication error reports, and Emergency Fact Sheets. Critical information lives in one place, not scattered across systems.
There were A TON more improvements, fixes, and refinements made by the team this year. If we listed them all, they wouldn’t fit here.
What matters most is this: the Kibu documentation experience is faster, cleaner, and even easier than it was just months ago. And we aren't stopping any time soon.

Content and Curriculum: More Choice, Deeper Learning
This year, we focused on expanding what’s possible inside Kibu’s content experience. Not just more videos, but more ways for people to engage, create, and participate.
Here’s what that looked like:

We added over 140 new videos in 2025, bringing the Kibu library to 500+ pre-recorded lessons. That means more variety across interests, skill levels, and daily schedules. Providers can pull content on demand and build programming that actually fits their participants.

We also introduced Create with Kibu, opening the door to creativity without extra prep. Teams can now generate short stories, coloring pages, music games like Name That Tune, and interactive activities like Jeopardy and Bingo, all tied directly to Kibu content. Spend less time planning. Use time for engagement and keeping lessons memorable.

And finally, we refreshed the look and feel of lesson plans. Cleaner layouts. Clearer flow. Easier navigation for staff and participants alike. The same content, delivered in a way that’s simpler to use and easier to build around.
Kibu in the Community

This year, our team spent a lot of time outside the office. In programs. On gym floors. At conferences. In rooms full of people pushing inclusion forward in real ways. Those moments shape how we build, how we show up, and why the work matters.
Here’s a look back:
We kicked things off in Long Island City, where the Kibu team and Billy Blanks Jr. visited Constructive Partnerships Unlimited’s Day Habilitation program. The afternoon was filled with movement, games, and high-energy fun. The kind that reminds you why joy and physical activity belong at the center of the day.
Next, we joined The Arc of Acadiana’s Membership Banquet. We were honored to be invited to speak and to take part in a day rooted in celebration, inclusion, and community. From the style show to the live music, it was full of heart and purpose.
Not long after, we headed to The Arc of Greater Brockton for a win that turned into something special. After taking home a victory in Kibu’s Live Bingo event, we hosted an on-location livestream class, followed by a full Dance It Out Party led by Billy Blanks Jr. Members from the program starred in two Kibu videos that you might recognize if you use our content today!
Then came the Best Buddies Leadership Conference in Indianapolis. This one stays with you - a global gathering of self-advocates, peer leaders, and changemakers. The energy was unmatched, and the message was clear: Inclusion isn’t a side note, it’s the standard.
Billy Blanks Jr. led a full-venue dance experience that had thousands of attendees on their feet, alongside the Indianapolis Colts Cheerleaders. The Kibu team hosted an activity station throughout the weekend. There was movement, laughter, and connection happening everywhere you looked.
From there, we kept moving.
We hosted a dance party at Saint Catherine Center for Special Needs, creating space for movement, expression, and shared joy.
We proudly sponsored and attended Chimes’ ArtFall25, a powerful celebration of creativity and inclusion. The art, the stories, the community. It was a clear reminder of why meaningful days are built through self-expression and connection.
And to close out the year, a milestone moment for the entire company. Kibu CEO Dan Caridi was named to the Forbes 30 Under 30 Class of 2026 for Social Impact. A recognition that reflects not just leadership, but the providers across the country who trust Kibu every day. What started in a small gym has grown into a platform supporting organizations in nearly all 50 states. We’re proud of how far we’ve come. Even more excited about where we’re headed.
Not to mention, the Kibu team found the time to attend 14 conferences across 11 states this year. Each one sharpened our perspective. Each one reinforced why showing up matters.

Kibu Credit Program: Help Other Providers. Save Money.

One of the things we value most at Kibu is word of mouth. When providers share what’s working, the whole community benefits.
That’s the idea behind the Kibu Credit Program.
When you introduce another organization to Kibu, host a presentation, or collaborate with us on a story or post, you can earn credits toward your Kibu membership. It’s a simple, win-win approach. You help other providers discover tools that make their days easier, and your organization saves money along the way.
We’ve outlined the full credit program, examples, and next steps to all current Kibu providers via email!

When Providers Succeed, Everybody Wins
We love seeing our providers succeed once they’ve started using Kibu. Not just because metrics improve, but because days run smoother, staff feel supported, and participants stay engaged in ways that actually matter.
This year, two themes showed up again and again in the stories we heard. Documentation that finally works for IDD programs, and programming that keeps individuals engaged.
Here are a couple of our favorites:

Success with Documentation: Family Resource Associates
At Family Resource Associates in New Jersey, documentation had become a growing strain. New state requirements meant more notes, more frequency, and far more complexity. With Kibu, FRA transitioned to smart, mobile-friendly documentation that matched the language and workflow of IDD services. Staff now complete notes faster, monitor quality more easily, and reduce billing errors. For FRA, Kibu didn’t just replace a system. It removed friction from the day.

Success with Content & Curriculum: Little City Foundation
At Little City Foundation in Illinois, the focus was engagement. Serving more than 1,000 individuals across multiple programs, the team needed content that was age-appropriate, flexible, and easy to build around. Kibu quickly became part of the daily rhythm. Staff no longer juggle dozens of browser tabs or question whether content fits their audience. They open Kibu, plan with confidence, and build days that balance structure, choice, and joy.

Thanks Again For An AMAZING 2025!

Before we wrap this up, we want to say thank you. Again.
From everyone on the Kibu team, we’re grateful for the trust you place in us. For the feedback you share. For the partnership you bring to the table. And for the work you do every day to support people, build community, and create meaningful experiences.
We don’t take it lightly that we get to serve this space. It’s an honor to work alongside providers who care deeply and push for better outcomes. This year was strong because of you. And what’s ahead feels even more exciting.
We’re looking forward to continuing this journey together. Building smarter tools. Supporting your teams. And showing up for this community in ways that matter.
