The last episode of the Kibu Book Club for Holes! Stanley is cleared of all charges and refuses to leave Camp Green Lake without Zero, so Ms. Morengo takes them both, revealing along the way that Zero was the real sneaker thief and that rain has finally returned to Green Lake. The camp is shut down, and the mysterious suitcase turns out to hold family treasure that makes both boys nearly a million dollars each. The story closes a year and a half later with Stanley celebrating his family's success and Zero reunited at last with his long-lost mother.
